Old friends and last mass

Going to church under the influence of alcohol is not a very good idea. Lmao. But at least I was able to focus on the mass.

I failed to complete the 9 mornings though. Failed to attend the 5th mass. So I don't get to have a wish, but no biggie, it won't stop me from attending or rather 'finishing' my 1st Simbang Gabi.

And the reunion Christmas party, or whatever you want to call it, was not really a flop actually, not the best and no the worst at least. My friends Aivee and Loubell for some reasons decided not to go, one is in their province and the other still have class, but I still went to the party because I miss my friend Oneida. Had a good time talking to her, giving updates and such, talking about college - she's studying Mass Communication which is very related to journalism.

After the party, I went straight to church. Cool.

Last paskuhan

I remember last year I was with my friends then – yep, this year it was only me and Mj with Jeff of course, so we tagged along with Pam, Jas and the others.

Speaking of Mjep, it was their 11th monthsary yesterday. Aww. And what’s weird was the three of us watched Borat at Gateway, I was so stupid to forget that the day was their monthsary. Lmao. But they were so nice to me, hindi ako na OP. Lol.

So I missed the Sponge Cola concert. But I don’t care, had a nice time with the lovers. There will be more Sponge Cola concerts in the future.

Again to Mjep, thanks for the iced Irish Cream Latte! And belated happy monthsary.

9 mornings

Just got home from church. Simbang Gabi!!! Woohoo!!! My first simbang gabi. Awesome!

I’m not a morning person. I hate waking up early. I couldn’t wake up early. So why got go to church 4am in the morning instead of the night mass? Don’t know really. What’s weird was I was up in a snap 3am. Funny. Weird.

The church was jam packed. Feel like I was in a rock concert. Lmao.

I was with my sister, but she left in the middle of the mass.

Everything was fine. The mass was great and all, atmosphere was fine, it was a bit cold, starry morning, but the thing is that how come people are not aware that they smell?! I mean come on. That’s why deodorants were made right? Kainis, if only you could tell them they stink!! I’d be happy to give them P20 o they could buy a mini stick deo.

And another thing that bothers me was this certain “barkada”, about my age or whatever, who were chatting nonstop. They have they phones out, showing pictures and message to each other. Go to the mall instead!

The Deadline

Deadline of the thesis: December 15, Friday. So everyone's busy.

And our group? Haven't finished coding yet. The thing is our adviser, Sir Salvosa, allowed us to extend the submission of our thesis.

So the three of us, Mj, Danna and Me, will be busy the whole day tomorrow. Thesis work nonstop. We'll be doing it in our house. Lol.

And because of that I have to clean my room. As in clean every inch of it. Finished cleaning at about 3am. I should've finished earlier if I was not talking to myself, complaining, asking myself why I am doing this - for the first time in my life.

The verdict

Anyway, Daniel Smith was found guilty. Reason: he knew Nicole was drunk when he ‘raped’ her; he therefore took advantage of her. The other three Marines were acquitted.

I was partly right.

I was a bit surprised with the decision; I thought that the four would be acquitted. Turns out that there is justice here in our country.

And about the other three, though they didn’t really rape Nicole or whatever, they were there when Smith did the deed. So they’re like part of the crime right? But come to think of it, at least the guy who really raped the girl was found guilty. Better than my prediction.

So it’s life imprisonment for Smith. Serves him right.

Thank to Nanay Nona and Julai… and my Mom who informed about the decision. I was on my way to school when the verdict was released.


Starbucks Megamall Bridgeway

I really love this branch. Aside from its killer view, the Baristas are really nice. Plus I don’t have to tell my name and spell it because they already know me. When I entered the shop, one of the Baristas, Chie, said “Hi Sho!”

I got the chance to have a little chat with them since I was the only one who’s at the counter then. I ordered a Grande Toffee Nut Latte, to which Jeanie replied “Hindi Irish Cream?” They already know what I usually order. Lmao.

Then they asked me if I was still studying, they all thought I was already working because I’m there twice or thrice a week. I told them my school and course. They were like amazed when I told them I’m a journalism major, they all said, “Wow.” – Which is weird because I always get that reaction when they ask for my course. Then Sherwin said, “Batiin mo kami pag nasa TV ka na.”

Love them. Love the place.



Flop

I just saw the Ashlee Simpson lip synch blooper in Saturday Night Live. Talk about humiliating yourself in national TV!!!

And what’s weird was her reaction. I mean what’s with that dancing thing, and then she just walked out of the stage. I was then singing along with the band that was left playing the song on stage – she was supposed to sing ‘Pieces of Me’, the only decent song she has.

What a retard!!!

Good Times

What will be the decision?

Tomorrow the court will issue its verdict on the Subic Rape case where a 23-year-old woman named Nicole filed rape charges against four US Marines.

I’m excited. Can't wait for the decision really. I can just imagine how chaotic the Makati RTC is now. I saw from the news that there's this prayer vigil or whatever.

I remember last summer when the case was transferred to the Makati RTC, my trainor and I covered the said case. It was a mess. I can never ever forget that day, April 28. After covering the PIATCO case at the Pasay RTC alone, without eating lunch we covered the Subic Rape case. Well it was the biggest case I covered during my internship. I remember when the first hearing was over; I was hit by those big cameras by the TV media in the head A LOT of times. I was with Hazel and Kris Bayos then, who were also covering the said case with their trainors.

Good times.

But anyway, I think the Marines will be acquitted. Just a guess. I may be wrong. But let’s just see what will happen tomorrow.

I want to watch this movie. I need to watch it. Even though that the only thing that I know about the movie, or the anime, is that it's all about car racing and stuffs. Lol.

It stars Jay Chou, Shawn Yue and Edison Chen to name a few.

Jay Chou's the coolest! He's the king of Cpop! And I really really love his songs! The best talaga. Astig. Diao.

Diao bu diao?! - means 'cool or what?!' it's Jay's expression, been using it lately. Lolz. Diao meaning cool.

WWE's Queen of Extreme retires and loses her last match and title at Survivor Series. The four time Women's champion decided to call it quits and finally decides to end her wrestling career shortly after Trish Stratus did the same thing.

Who will retire next? LoLz.

Trsih Stratus and Lita were two of the most dominant and of course greatest WWE Divas of all time. Trish, the sultry Diva while Lita's the rocker Diva, both foxy and cool. And they really kick ass!!!
