Ginebra Baranagay Kings won the championship as they got 4 straight wins in the finals.

Fine they won, there's always next season.

And I can't help but comment about Rudy Hatfield's actions after the game. So let him mimic Triple H's signature entrance move in wrestling, he's a fan right, but the interview where he spoke like a wrestler, almost shouting as if he's talking to someone located at the other side of the world - that would be the most irritating interview I ever saw on national television.

Nausea

What can I say… definitely the most disgusting thing I’ve ever read. But I just love the story, Dr. Hannibal’s really scary. He got these weird ideas and such.

Imagine, when I was reading ‘The interview of the Vampire’ two years ago, I always get so damn nauseous because of the blood thing – I can’t stand blood! But what do you know, I’ve managed to finish reading about the killer who takes the skins off his victim, sew it and wear it so he would be a woman. Lmao.

‘The Silence of the Lamb’ by Thomas Harris - a great read. And I don’t think I can watch the film, my imagination is enough.

Detective wannabe

Just finished reading the book I borrowed from Jasmine, ‘Postmortem’ by Patricia Cornwell.

Sadly I didn’t get to solve the case/mystery. I failed to identify who the killer was - after stopping for 5 minutes after every chapter to analyze the killer; I was trying to think like Shinichi in the anime Detective Conan.

It was an OK book. Personally Cornwell writes well. Didn’t have a hard time understanding complicated things. Not boring. A page turner especially at the latter chapters.

Up next I’ll be attempting to read ‘The Silence of the Lambs’ by Thomas Harris. Haven’t seen the movie yet, maybe I will after reading the book.



Dekaranger wannabe

Been crazy over the Tokusou Sentai Dekarangers. really love the series. Just like Go go Sentai Boukengers, the super sentai series focuses on the transformation of the characters. Which I think is better than a great plot.

Plus the Special Police Dekarangers stars Ayumi Kinoshita as Jasmine/DekaYellow – probably the hottest ranger in the whole sentai series. Lmao.

They also have the coolest sentai suits ever. Really cool. Deka means detective in English. Diao.

Reward

Thesis defense over. At long last. The event that college students feared the most. My group’s defense was done a little late, one of our panelists was not available during the UST AB thesis day- were there were no classes for the lower years and the whole day would be spent for the seniors.

Anyway, I was really nervous but I was trying hard not to show it my thesis mates. Mj was somewhat panicking, acting in a weird way actually. Danna looks relaxed but never stopped making notes and rereading it.

Waiting for the defense to start was the greatest torture. A very weird feeling. So what I did was I walked around the campus alone and bought an ice cream to calm down.

But what’s great was it went really well. We got 66/70 from one of our panelists. So happy it’s now over, just a little revisions.

So yesterday after my interview I treated my self with a donut and Irish Cream Latte. One of my Barista friends –upon knowing that I already finished the defense and they, the baristas, know how nervous I was then – gave me a free drink. Lmao.

Sports Update

Game 1 goes to the Beermen!!! Lol.

Got a feeling they will get the trophy this time. Good thing the Barangay Kings were not in the mood to play. Lmao.
